Halo Module 03

Smart Alerts.

Anomaly detection and threshold monitoring that learns your data patterns. Know about problems before they become incidents.

Overview

What it does.

Smart Alerts monitors your data streams continuously and notifies the right people when something changes. It combines traditional threshold rules with ML-powered anomaly detection that adapts to your data's natural patterns.

Alerts are grouped and correlated automatically, so your team gets one actionable notification instead of a hundred duplicates. Escalation chains, snooze rules, and shift-aware routing keep noise to a minimum.

Capabilities

Key features.

Anomaly Detection

ML models learn the normal behavior of each metric and flag deviations automatically. No manual threshold tuning required for standard monitoring.

Custom Rules

Define threshold, rate-of-change, and composite rules for metrics that need deterministic alerting. Combine multiple conditions with AND/OR logic.

Alert Correlation

Related alerts are grouped into incidents automatically. Reduce alert fatigue by surfacing root causes instead of symptoms.

Multi-Channel Delivery

Route alerts to email, Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, or webhooks. Different channels for different severity levels and teams.

Escalation Chains

Define who gets notified first and who gets escalated to if no acknowledgment is received. Shift-aware routing respects on-call schedules.

Alert History

Full timeline of every alert: when it fired, who acknowledged it, what actions were taken, and when it resolved. Exportable for post-incident review.
