Overview

What it does.

Voice Interface extends the Halo platform into environments where traditional interfaces fall short. Field operators, warehouse managers, and tactical teams can query data, receive briefings, and trigger actions through natural speech.

The module processes voice commands locally for low-latency response and supports offline-capable mode for disconnected operations. Multilingual support is built in from the ground up.

Capabilities

Key features.

Voice-to-Query

Speak a question and receive a structured data response. Integrates with Core Analytics and LLM Chat for query processing.

Audio Responses

Natural-sounding voice synthesis delivers data summaries, alerts, and briefings. Configurable voice, speed, and detail level.

Offline Mode

Core voice processing runs locally on the device. Operate in disconnected environments with cached data and models.

Multilingual

Speech recognition and response generation in multiple languages. Real-time translation between speaker and data language.

Wake Word

Custom wake word activation for always-listening mode. Privacy controls ensure audio is processed locally and never stored.

Action Triggers

Voice commands can trigger workflows: acknowledge alerts, update records, or initiate processes without touching a screen.
